  Hello My name is Moon.

I was born in a small rice farm village about 500 miles south of Seoul, Korea, in a little town called Sunsan. Sunsan is  surrounded with an evergreen pine forest with black oak bark, chestnut, maples and Keingko trees.

There were grapevines tangled throughout the trees which looked like a large snake climbing along the top of the trees. When I was a little girl, I enjoyed the grapevines. Each year in late spring there was a rush of green leaf that looked like small human hands and banetes of crush grouped into tiny balls forming into individual green balls.

When it turns cool in early autumn, the leaves turn a golden yellow and the grapes are a purple ruby color, sweet and juicy. My younger brother and I looked forward to the taste of these delicious grapes each year. I had no idea where wine came from until I was in high school, it was not well known at that time in Korea. The Korean people called it "podo-ju" or grape alcohol. In the novels I have read, world history tells us that wine was ancient.

Winemaking dates to 5,000 to 6,000 B.C. In making and drinking wine there is love and faith. I have a dream. The dream that some day I may grow my own grapes, and make my own wine and under my own name. That dream was something that wasn't easy.

After completing high school I had the opportunity to migrate to America. My life in America was filled with hardship, and my dream of making wine wasn't easy. It took me two decades to make this dream come true. I have traveled the South of France, Napa Valley and Sonoma Valley of California, world famous wine countries.

I have tasted all kinds of red and white wines. My favorite is Cabernet Sauvignon. My dream came true with love. I have found my love, my husband, my best friend my soul mate, my life and my hero. With his help, I made my first wine in 1990.

Each and every year since then, my wine has improved. Fly moon Stunt Creek Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon. Each October, I have a wine bottling party. A home made bottle of wine is a great gift for most occasions, especially Thanksgiving and Christmas. I am able to serve my wine to dinner guests, and all of them have great stories to tell after tasting Fly moon Cabernet sauvignon.

Well, ladies and gentlemen, one thing I must tell you is the way I make wine is very simple. It's with 1.) TLC (tender loving care), 2.)love and passion for the grapevine, and 3.) love of life.

With love and faith,
Lady Moon
